Academy : Many thanks to coaches Chris, Niall, Murt, Tony, Adi and Noel for helping out with the Academy coaching session last Friday evening. It was a perfect evening for training and all seemed to have enjoyed it to the full. Remember, Academy training continues every Friday evening at the IT College North Campus from 6 to 7pm. Don’t forget to bring €2 to cover pitch hire and lights and remember to wrap up warm.
Registration : Some players have yet to give registration and this can be done at the Academy Training each Friday evening at the IT College from 6 to 7pm.

U-11 League : Dynamos three U-11 teams took on near rivals Park FC last Saturday. Our A team had a comprehensive victory over Park A with Pierce Lowth, Adam Evans and Shayne Stack all on target for Dynamos. Our B team were unlucky to lose out 3-2 against our Park counterparts with Leon O Connor, Tadhg Healy Oisin Carroll and Conor Crean all playing well. Our C team won 4-1, making it a good day for the club with Nick Lacey, Rory Kavanagh, Fionn Daly, Debra O Connor and Saoirse Kerins impressing.

U-13 League : Dynamos 2-4 Kenmare. Goals from Tom and Evan Quilligan were not enough to ward off this impressive Kenmare side and despite the brave efforts of Alex Hoare and James Dowling, the visitors took the spoils in a very entertaining game.

U-15 League : In heartbreaking fashion Dynamos lost out to table toppers Ballyhar when conceding the winner three minutes into injury time. Having played some scintillating football with possession the key, it was the imposing Ballyhar team that took victory in a very sporting game. Patrick Moravski was Dynamos scorer, his second in two games with Sean Dillane, Donagh Stephenson and keeper James Moran all doing very well. Our next game is at home to Killarney Athletic on Saturday week Dec 2nd

U-17 National Cup : Surprisingly, Dynamos received a walkover from top Dublin side Crumlin Utd in the last 32 of the National Cup. It’s a real pity that such events transpired as everybody at the club were looking forward to taking on one of the top sides in Dublin. We now advance to the Last 16 of the National Cup.

Tralee Dynamos 2 Askeaton 1 aet

Tralee Dynamos 2 Askeaton 1 aet

Dynamos just about shaded this contest getting the winner late in the 2nd half of extra time from the boot of captain fantastic David Rogers who responded quickest to coolly side foot to the net from 10 yards that sparked full team celebrations.

Dynamos opened the scoring after 12 minutes from a Tony Duggan corner. Askeaton to their credit created many chances throughout the game but time and time again were denied by Dynamos man of the match goalkeeper Darragh Reen. The highlight of his saves was a full length save from the penalty spot.

LtoR: Tony Duggan goal scorer, Darragh Reen man of the match, David Rogers winning goal

With the sides level at half time Dynamos had the clearest chance after Codi Dauti was taken down for a penalty. Codi took responsibility for the penalty but unfortunately blazed his penalty high over the bar.

The miss came back to haunt Dynamos as Askeaton equalised on 85 minutes from a corner that was headed to the top of the net for an o.g.

Dynamos had some very good performances all over the park with Nemanja at centre back alongside Patrick who absorbed a lot of pressure. David Rogers with his goal contributed greatly to the overall win.

Man of the Match: Darragh Reen, Our Keeper saved the team from the penalty spot along with a range of different saves to deny Askeaton.

Many thanks to all the parents for providing refreshments for our visitors today.

Our U12 A team played at home today against a LB Rovers side in their 3rd league game of the season. The game started off in a very even fashion with chance for both sides and Dynamos goalkeeper Emanuel Brankovic made some great saves to keep the game at 0-0. Then just before the break Dynamos went 1-0 up with a fine finish by Pierce Lowth.

In the second half this young Dynamos team played their best football of the season to date. Jake Hoare and Darragh Corridon linked up in midfield and set up Adam Evans to strike the back of the net twice. Then Shayne Stack scored a great goal cutting in from flank and finishing with a powerful strike into the bottom corner. Jake Hoare, and Shay Kelliher added two more and Adam Evans finished off with a hat trick towards the end. To LB Rovers credit they never gave up and scored a fine goal at the end also.

Best for Dynamos was Adam Evans up front and Shayne Stack who scored one goals and assisted 3 others.

Thanks to LB Rovers for a very sporting game.
