Club Licence

Tralee Dynamos while disappointed that we have not been successful this year the club fully intend to apply for a 1st Division Licence for the 2013 season. We intend to continue our works in improving our infrastructure to achieve League of Ireland standard. Tralee Dynamos accept that a lot of work is needed to be completed before a successful entry into League of Ireland is secured.
We assure the people of Kerry that the desire is within the club to provide top level soccer for the young players of Kerry for the 1st time in the 93 year history of League of Ireland soccer.
We are currently participating in the League of Ireland Under 19 league. We intend to enter a Under 19 team in the League of Ireland for 2012/13 season. We currently have a senior team in the Kerry District League.

Under 19 match report by Shane Carey

Tralee Dynamos made the long journey to Galway Saturday night in search of 3 points, to maintain their title challenge.
Dynamos started brightly and immediatly had Galway under pressure. Dynamos’ pressure told just minutes later when Adam Piggot fizzed a great ball across the 6 yard box and Darren O’Brien was on hand to turn the ball in.
Half way through the first half Galway equalised but, it wasnt long before Dynamos took the lead again with Piggot blasting home from just inside the box.
Dynamos went into the break 2-1 up and looked to add to this lead in the second half. Again Dynamos started well with Adam Piggot cutting in from the left and rattling the cross-bar with Aaron Houlihan on hand to turn in the rebound.
Soon after both teams were reduced to 10 men. Galway grabbed a second goal as they put Dynamos under pressure late on in the second half. It was backs to the wall stuff for Dynamos as they looked to see out the game. Then after a mazy run from Danny Roche, taking it around 4 players he was hauled down in the penalty area with Uros Ivkovic cooly slotting home.

Paul White, Shane Carey, Jonathan Hannafin, Wayne Duggan, Donnacha McGarry, Adam Piggot (Ger McCarthy), Aaron Houlihan, Uros Ivkovic, Ian McCarthy, Danny Roche Darren O’Brien (Nigel O’Connor).

Kingdom Girls 2 – Killarney Athletic 6

Though the win wasn’t to be for the Kingdom Girls this time and it took the team time to find their feet at the start of what promises to be an exciting season, in the 2nd half of this game in the League the Kingdom Girls proved that they can do it. With 2 goals within 10 minutes in the 2nd half from Deboragh Mangan and Jade Powell it showed how capable they really are and worked really hard to defend their side for the remaining minutes and succeeded. Well done to the whole team and thank you to all the parents who came to support us.
Also this season as the number of girls who want to come and play soccer with us is increasing every week I would ask that any parent who has the time to contact me if you are interested in helping out at training and games, all help is appreciated. You can contact me on 087-1613069 or speak to anyone of the coaches from the Kingdom Boys and Tralee Dynamos…
Training is on Wednesdays at the KDL at 5.30 to 6.30 and on Saturdays at 12 noon to 1pm if we dont have a game on Saturdays.
We would also welcome any new players to come and join us and try out for one of Tralees hardest working Girls soccer clubs.
Regards
Noelle OBrien …… Kingdom Girls Head Coach.
