A Shane Lowth hat trick gave Dynamos a massive 3 points in their relegation battle.

Dynamos opened the scoring mid way through the first half after good work from Oliver Coffey and Simon Lorne resulted in a Dynamos free 20 yards from the Castleisland goal. Shane got on the free and his right footed effort beat the Castleisland net minder to give Dynamos the lead.

On the stroke of half time Castleisland got level with good combination play outside the Dynamos box released Danny Feehan inside the box and he shot to the net from close range to give Castleisland a share of the spoils at half time.

Dynamos regained the lead with the play starting with Jonathan Burrows deep inside the Dynamos half he found Tony Duggan down the left wing whose 1st touch pass to Shane down the channel who bore down on the Island goal cutting inside the defender before shooting to the bottom left hand corner giving Dynamos the lead again.

Shane was to get his hat trick late in the game with a great through ball that split the Island defence and with Shane going towards goal getting inside the 18 yard box only to be tackled from behind resulting in a Dynamos penalty and a red card to the Castleisland defender. Shane stepped up to the penalty scoring into the bottom left hand corner for his hat trick and his 18th goal of the season.
